Nicosia Lawson is a beauty queen who represented the Cayman Islands in Miss World 2008 in South Africa, and will also represent the islands in Miss Universe 2009. She previously placed 2nd runner-up in the 2000 Miss Teen Cayman Islands competition.
she completed an Associate's degree in Business Administration and later the University of Ottawa, Canada where she achieved two bachelor's degrees, one in Economics and the other in Political Science
