Paraguay crowned its three beauty queens for 2009. Miss Universe Paraguay is Mareike Baumgarten, who will compete in the Bahamas; Miss World Paraguay is Tamara Sosa, who will compete in South Africa, London and Dubai; Miss International Paraguay is Romina Bogado, who will compete in Japan and Macau.
The runner-ups were Carmen Valdivieso (1st) and Daiana Cubilla Lee (2nd).
