Costa Rica's three grandslam beauty queens were chosen during the 2009 Miss Mundo Costa Rica beauty contest held at Hotel Radisson Europa. The main title was won by Angie Alfaro Loria, who will represent Costa Rica at Miss World 2009. Miss Earth Costa Rica was awarded to Malena Orozco and will be sent to the Philippines for Miss Earth 2009, while Jennifer Miranda became Miss International Costa Rica.
