Miss Brazil Larissa Ramos was crowned as the 9th Miss Earth in the island of Boracay. The new grand slam beauty queen is a biology student and the 2nd Miss Earth winner from her country.
Her runners-up were: Miss Philippines Sandra Seifet (Air), Miss Venezuela Jessica Barboza (Water) and Miss Spain Alejandra Echeverria (Fire). Finalists include Alejandra Castillo Munera (Colombia), Pascale Nelide (Martinique), Izabela Wilczek (Poland) and Rujinan Phanseethum (Thailand).
Magalie Thierry (France), Nonna Diakonidze (Georgia), Shriya Kishore (India), Yeju Park (Korea), Kayleigh O'Reilly (Northern Ireland), Gabriela Rejala (Paraguay), Valerie Lim (Singapore) and Chanel Grantham (South Africa) were named as semi-finalists.
