Miss Peru International 2009

Leslie Bejarano Flores , from Arequipa, was recently crowned Miss Peru International 2009.  

Before traveling to Chegdu, China, where Miss International 2009 will take place, Leslie will travel to Ecudor to compete in the International Queen of Banano pageant. 

The runner-ups were Danissa Zurek Rajkovik (1st), Miss Peru to the International Queen of Coffee 2010; and Vanessa Trigos Núñe (2nd), Miss Peru to Miss Atlántico Internacional 2010.

Claudia Maria Carrasco is Miss World Peru 2009

Claudia Maria Carrasco, Miss Cuzco, the first ever winner from her department. The new queen was crowned by Maria Julia Mantilla, Miss World 2004, from Peru.

Miss Pasco, Tatiana Simon, was the 1st runner-up, and received the title Miss Tourism Queen Peru 2009. She will represent Peru in China next month.

Miss Lima, Jimena Rumini, was the 2nd runner-up, followed by Miss Arequipa, Pieriangel Daniela Dodero, 3rd runner-up, Miss La Libertad, Maria Lourdes Mantilla, 4th runner-up, and Miss Tumbes, Diana Carolina Limo, the 5th runner-up.

The beautiful new Miss World Peru will now get ready to represent her country in Miss World 2009, in South Africa, on December 12.

Karen Schwarz will represent Perú in Miss Universe 2009. The first runner up, Jessica Schialer, Miss Earth Perú 2009 will enter in Miss Earth 2009. The second runner up, Sofia del Pinho, Miss Turismo Peruana 2009 will enter in Miss Tourism Queen International 2009. The top 6 will enter Miss Continente Americano 2009, Reina Hispanoamericana 2009, and Miss Intercontinental 2009.

karen schwarz, a 24-year old professional model who represented Amazonas, was crowned Miss Peru Universe 2009 during an event held in Lima on April 4th. Karen is 1.78 m tall and will represent Peru at the miss universe 2009 pageant in the Bahamas next August.
