Miss Nepal 2009

Zenisha Moktan, a 20-year old student from Kathmandu, was crowned Miss Nepal 2009 during an event held on September 24th.

Moktan, will represent Nepal at the Miss World pageant to take place in South Africa next December.

First runner-up is Richa Thapa and the second runner-up is Kunchhang Moktan Tamng. The pageant was successfully held after the fall of the maoist government who prevented the celebration of last year's edition.
