Tina Petelin from Maribora won the 2009 Miss Slovenije contest and will represent Slovenia at the 59th Miss World in South Africa. Tara Zupancic and Sarah Gasljevic were the runners-up. The new Miss Slovenia was chosen in a private event organized by the new pageant director Damir Osredecki.
The first runner-up is Tara Zupancic and the second runner-up is Sarah Gasljevic.
