Leticia “Letty” Lara, a 21-year old beauty from San Pedro, Ambergris Caye, who convinced the panel of five judges that she would make a most worthy representative for Belize in Miss World 2009 in Johannesburg, South Africa, on December 12th.
The title of Miss Earth Belize 2010, was won by Sherrylee Rodriguez, a 20-year old from Belize City, who was also the first runner-up for Miss World Belize, in addition to obtaining the Miss Catwalk and Miss Beach Beauty titles.
Seventeen-year old Karen Middleton from the Corozal District, the 2nd runner-up, also secured Miss Amity. Daniella Woolley, 19, from the Cayo District, took Miss Photogenic. The title of Best Evening Wear-Presentation was won by 18-year old Victoria Garrell, resident of the nation’s capital, Belmopan.
