Miriam Gerald (20) won the Vodacom Miss Tanzania 2009 last October 6 in Dar es Salaam. She will represent Tanzania in Miss World 2009 in Johannesburg, South Africa on December 12.
Miriam hails from Mwanza thus her win making it two consecutive years that the prestigious title has gone to the beauty from Rock City.
First runner-up is Beatrice Lukindo (20), while Julieth William (19) has won the third place.
