Anna Hammel, a student from Gmunden, was crowned Miss Austria 2009 at an event held at the American Chance Casino in Kleinhaugsdorf on Saturday, March 28th.
She will represent Austria at the Miss World 2009 contest in Johannesburg, South Africa next December.
The runner-ups were 18-year old Konstanze Heis (1st) and 22-year old Dejana Varadin (2nd).
