Kaierouann Imarah Shaade Kensha Radix was chosen as Guyana's representative to Miss World 2009, after being selected by Miss Guyana World director Kenneth Chung, through online application. She has recently graduated from Oxford Brookes University with a Bachelor’s Degree in International Relations and Politics.

Miss Guyana Universe 2009 is Jenel Cox

Jenel Cox was last night crowned Miss Guyana Universe 2009 at the National Cultural Centre. First runner- up was Rachael Bakker and the second runner- up was Lucria Rambalak.

Jenel Cox will be the next ambassador representing Guyana at the Miss Universe 2009 beauty pageant contest.
