Zoureena Rijger has been crowned as Miss Suriname 2009 and will compete in Miss World 2009. Wynona Redmond was the 1st runner-up and will represent Suriname at Miss Earth 2009, while Sandy Amatdanom bagged the 2nd runner-up spot and will compete in Miss International 2009.
