2009 Miss Tahiti pageant took place and the winner was Puahinano Bonno, who will represent the island at Miss France 2010 in December.
First runner up was Niuriki Teremate, who will compete at Miss Earth this fall. Among other runner-ups were Mereani Meyrand and Heimata Lucas.
